Sunday Song-Creation Calls

Very often, I delete without reading forwards in my email inbox.
Am I the only one who does that?
Sorry, but there's only so much time.

But my friend, Shara, always sends "good" forwards.
Like this one.
4 days I let it languish in the inbox.
I'm so glad I trusted her past thoughtfulness and listened to it.

One line of the lyrics really caught my attention:
A newborn's cry at birth.
Lord willing and by His grace,
my second daughter will give birth to her first child in May.
My baby will be a mother.
The season of grandparenthood will dawn for my Dear Husband and me.
OH!  Can't take that all in just yet!

I hope you enjoy the music, the beautiful video, and the lyrics (below).

Creation Calls

Brian Doerksen

I have felt the wind blow,
Whispering your name
I have seen your tears fall,
When I watch the rain.

(Refrain)
How could I say there is no God?
When all around creation calls!!
A singing bird, a mighty tree,
The vast expanse of open sea.

Gazing at a bird in flight,
Soaring through the air.
Lying down beneath the stars,
I feel your presence there.

I love to stand at ocean shore
And feel the thundering breakers roar,
To walk through golden fields of grain
With endless bloom horizons fray.

Listening to a river run,
Watering the Earth.
Fragrance of a rose in bloom,
A newborn's cry at birth.

(Refrain)

I love to stand at ocean shore
And feel the thundering breakers roar,
To walk through golden fields of grain
With endless bloom horizons fray

I believe
I believe
I believe
(Interlude)
I believe
I believe
I believe just like a child.

I believe

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth...
Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness..."
So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them.
Genesis 1:1, 27

I'm so pleased to be linking up with Natasha's first Sunday Song of 2011.
You may know that she and her countrymen in Queensland, Australia had quite a scare
due to terrible flooding that occurred earlier this month.
Please check out her appeal for help for those affected by the Queensland floods.
So glad you're back, dear friend!
I'm also linking up Charlotte & Ginger for
God bless and keep you this week!
Love,

Hello Karen! I am so happy that you have joined in with Sunday Song today! Thank you so much for not only sharing this beautiful piece of music but for also mentioning the terrible flooding we recently had. Can you believe that they are predicting a cyclone in North Queensland tonight and tomorrow? I sure do hope that the poor people up north don't get battered again.

You must be getting so excited about meeting your grandchild! I hope that all goes well for the rest of the pregnancy.

Blessings and best wishes always,
your Aussie friend,
Natasha.

I get lots of forwarded e-mails. I also received this same video some time ago. It became my favorite video. I love the song, the pictures, all of it. I think it's great. I'm glad you shared it. I even bought the music on iTunes because I liked it so much. Now it's on my iPod and I listen to it there too.
Blessings,
Charlotte
